|-||Machine Systems Life-cycle Management and Engineering major gives students competences to understand methodology and data analysis related to machine and production systems life-cycle, and also competence to refine life-cycle data for decision making information will be obtained. In this major student can specialize in Machine Systems Integrity Engineering or Engineering Intelligence, which give ability to understand life-cycle management and engineering methods of machine and production systems.
The major gives skills to apply the digital tools used in area. The major gives ability independently to apply substance knowledge for practical systems and to analyze dependencies in availability, reliability, maintenance and condition monitoring of systems. In addition Student also develops skills to communicate about the substance area with other professionals and general public. Also student develops competency to evaluate and develop his/her professional skills in substance area and gives possibility for post-graduate studies in the area.
Engineering intelligence studies give student an ability to comprehend and utilize industrial internet and information systems, related data models, software architecture and their integration. The studies of engineering intelligence provide a basis for utilizing and developing of information management systems, product family and content management and their evolution in industrial internet.
Machine systems reliability engineering studies enables student to comprehend physical phenomena related to machine systems integrity, such as failure mechanics and tribology, and methodologies used to define integrity, such as non-destructive testing. Student is able to apply data-analytics and data management methodologies in reliability engineering. The studies of machine systems reliability engineering provide a basis for design and analysis of reliability, availability, maintenance and safety (RAMS) of machine and production systems.
The study module provides a path to post-graduate studies in the field of life-cycle management and engineering.
