The Moodle-system supports students' self-study. The course is passed by doing mandatory assignments and performing the exam at the required level of knowledge. The course exam is carried out in the EXAM-system.

After completing the course the student masters Internet marketing related technical solutions and their characteristics. The student is able to analyze the effectiveness of Internet marketing and e-commerce with different tools and meters. The student is able to differentiate how Internet marketing can be used to promote the business of different companies. The course deals with issues related to, for example, search engine optimization, social media marketing, e-mail marketing, and targeted advertising.
