3. Demonstrate functionality and performance own circuit in lab, demo accepted

6. Mandatory meetings attended.


After completing the course, student will be able to design, simulate, build, and test an active RF circuit. The student will be able to give a presentation on own work and be able to document his/her work in a way engineering theses are written in Tampere University.

1. Design of an active RF circuit, for example, an amplifier, oscillator, or mixer.     
2. RF simulations: analysis and optimization of an RF circuit using a professional RF circuit simulator program.     
3. Implementation of the designed circuit.     
4. Testing the designed circuit.     
5. Preparing a report that meets good engineering standards.     
6. Giving an oral presentations about the work carried out in this project.
