Participation in at least 80% of the lectures and accepted oral presentations of the given subjects.


After completing the course, the student is able to - name the most common unit processes in industrial bioengineering. - explain the operating principles of these processes. - explain how to manage and maintain biological processes in a bioreactor. - implement theoretical knowledge and develop a theoretical concept of an overall biological process. - evaluate the feasibility of different bioprocess designs and consider the economics of the process based on the estimated selling price of the product and the planned production scale.

5. Searching, interpreting, and presenting of scientific information
