Prof. Juho Hamari awarded “young scientist of the year 2019”

On Monday, May 13th 2019; Professor Juho Hamari was awarded ” young scientist of the year 2019″ by the Finnish Technology Promotion foundation (TES). The award is a recognition for groundbreaking research work in the technologies field at a young age. The award was handed out at the celebration of 70 years since the Finnish Technology Promotion foundation was established, which was held at the Trap Factory in Espoo, Helsinki, Finland.

A few members of the Gamification Group were present at the celebration along with several professors and notable figures of the Finnish technology research scene. The award comes with a prize of 15,000€ which Dr. Hamari intends to utilise to ensure his awareness – and that of the Gamification Group’s – of technological trends and developments.
