Learning outcomes
After the course the student has a basic understanding of information security and the value of information to business. The student understands the process of managing information security and the role of information security policies in management. The student can apply this knowledge from the business perspective to the context of managing a company. The student is able to plan the implementation of an information security awareness program, and assess the state of information security in a company. Kurssin jälkeen opiskelijalla on peruskäsitys tietoturvallisuuden johtamisesta ja tietoturvallisuuden merkityksestä liiketoiminnalle. Opiskelija ymmärtää tietoturvallisuuspolitiikan käsitteen sisällön ja sen roolin yrityksen johtamisessa. Hän osaa arvioida yrityksen tietoturvallisuuden tilaa ja suunnitella kehittämistoimenpiteitä. Opiskelija osaa suunnitella tietoturvallisuuskoulutuksen toteutuksen.

Evaluation criteria for the course
Opiskelijaa arvioidaan ryhmässä tehtävällä harjoitustyöllä sekä tentillä. Saadakseen arvosanan kolme (3), tulee opiskelijan hallita kurssin keskeiset aihealueet hyvin.
