75% attendance, participation in pair and group work and project presentations, completion of assigned written work and quizzes, and a final examination
Learning outcomes
After taking the course, students - have a well-rounded understanding of the architect's education, work environment, and functions in an English-speaking environment - have an extensive vocabulary and capability to use it in various professional functions and duties of the architect - can effectively and with appropriate terms present and discuss architectural designs and materials in various phases of construction - can professionally and with an awaress of genres communicate in writing with clients, constructors, and trades people on topics such as building plans and building permission and tender applications
Evaluation criteria for the course
Attendance (75%), class participation, quizzes, written assignments, and project presentations constitute 60% of the final grade and a final examination the remaining 40%.
