The requirement for completing the course is passing the examination. The course is an advanced level course which consists of a written examination from literature and article package. The article collection is valid for one academic year. The list of articles will be published on the course POP site in the autumn. The articles can be found in the eJournals of TUT library. Please note that the articles are accessible only within the TUT campus network. There will be four opportunities per academic year to take the exam. Check the exam date and register in time. The instructors cannot accept late registrations, because they do not have access to the examination registration system.
Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning
After completing this course, we hope that students will be able to explain - the concept of strategic human resource management (SHRM) - the key factors associated with SHRM - the current perspectives in SHRM The course is designed to promote self-learning and individual study. We study these topics because human resources and human resource management can play major roles in the organization's overall strategy, particularly when human resources are viewed as providing a major competitive advantage.

There will be a few classes given on the 1st period. Short cases will be discussed in small groups. The classes will be held in English. The attendance at the classes is voluntary. The requirement for completing the course is passing the examination.

The requirement for completing the course is passing one full examination or 3 intermediate examinations. Each intermediate exam consists of questions on one of the books or article collection at a time. All 3 intermediate exams of the course must be passed during the same academic year. Exam dates are the same for the full exam and intermediate exams. You can sign up only either on a full exam or on a intermediate exam (specify which part you take in the exam room).|| Lectures
