|1.||Overview of ambient systems implementation and service design (covering smart materials, MEMS and sensor technology, embedded system technology, ubiquitous computation, I/O device technology, adaptive software, media management and handling, natural interaction, computational intelligence, context awareness, and emotional computation)||A few sub-components of ambient multimedia are selected and presented in more depth depending on actual research work (e.g. computational intelligence)||Ambient multimedia is a new field. During the course up-to-date research results are presented.|
Attendance and one presentation and an essay required for passing the course and grade pass is given.
