Course objectives
Understanding why content, structure, and presentation of abstract documents should be separated and how it can be done, mastering XML, applications.
Content of the course
Fundamental concepts and mathematical structures of structured documents, HTML as a markup language, CSS, XML, developing XML DTDs, XML family of standards (especially Namespaces and XPath), hypertext, transforming XML. Only in Finnish.
Requirements
Exam and accepted project work.
