Demola Autumn 2017 - Call for Projects

This time around the campaign will have a specific theme, Demola Meets Nature. This means than in addition to our regular acitivites there will be a focus on projects related to forestry, natural resources and other similar topics. As a part of this campaign, the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luonnonvarakeskus) will as a strategic stakeholder. Contact the Demola facilitators now – the deadline for project proposals is June 30th.


International biomedical engineering conference 2017

The joint conference of EMBEC’17 and NBC’17 brings together engineers, biologists and clinical experts in June 2017 in Tampere, Finland. The conference presents all traditional biomedical engineering areas and also highlights new emerging fields. Organizers: BioMediTech and the Finnish Society for Medical Physics and Medical Engineering.

Re-City 2017: 2nd International City Regeneration Congress

The theme “(Im)Possible Cities” allows for a wide range of approaches concerning city regeneration and the challenges implied in the visioning, planning and construction the cities. The Congress provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, students and practitioners in the fields of urban planning, architecture, traffic planning and logistics, ecology, urban history, informatics, health sciences, economics and business, political sciences, social sciences and humanities. Tampere University of Technology and University of Tampere together welcome you to Re-City 2017 Congress!

Training opportunities: Systems Engineering

The training provides a perspective on the disciplines of Systems Engineering and helps you to develop your systems and keep your customers satisfied. The training focuses on modelling and designing systems with a flavor of simulation. It is organised by the Centre of Professional Development at TUT and consists of an individual project case and six training days starting from September 2017.
