Novi research center brings together researchers working in the area of information and knowledge management at the Tampere University of Technology.
Novi aims to understand phenomena that relate to knowledge economy and knowledge-based value creation. Together with our partner organizations we develop methods and tools to better manage knowledge resources.
Novi operates at the Department of Business Information and Logistics at TUT. There are five professors working in different areas of knowledge management. Professors’ special expertise areas cover knowledge-intensive service operations and intellectual capital (Antti Lönnqvist), information systems (Samuli Pekkola), organizational learning and innovations (Hannu Kärkkäinen) and business intelligence (Mika Hannula). Naturally, there are interesting research fields also in the intersections of these areas that we are continuously exploring. The following researchers work at Novi:
