Time
Finland is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +2).

Language
Finnish is the official language but English is widely spoken. Language of the conference is English.

Currency
The Finnish currency is EURO. Credit cards are widely used in most shops and restaurants. Most currencies and traveller’s cheques can easily be changed either at banks, hotels or money-changers with some handling charges.

Weather in November
In November the weather is cold, with temperatures ranging between 5°C and -5°C. Snowing is possible. Autumn/winter clothes are recommended.
