MUSA: MULTI-CLOUD SECURE APPLICATIONS
A FRAMEWORK FOR FACILITATING SECURITY IN MULTI-CLOUD APPLICATIONS
MUSA Project is an EU H2020 Research Project which is aimed at ensuring security in all multi-cloud environments. The goal of MUSA is to provide a framework which supports the security-intelligent lifecycle management of distributed applications over heterogeneous cloud resources. The MUSA framework utilizes security-by-design mechanisms for application self-protection as well as methods and tools for integrated security assurance.
MUSA offers a wide range of tools for holistic security management of multi-cloud applications. MUSA tools enable DevOps and Cloud application developers to securely manage their multi-cloud applications right from application design through development and deployment up till runtime. The tools are available at a glance and can be easily invoked via the MUSA dashboard.
In MUSA, two use case are being implemented. This is done in order to validate the MUSA solutions which specifically is the application of the MUSA tools. The use cases are;
Airline flight scheduling by Lufthansa Systems
MUSA will provide data confidentiality and localization in a cloud application which is used nowadays by more than 64 airlines around the world.
Smart mobility in Tampere city
MUSA will facilitate the deployment of privacy and data protection in an open data-based application that optimize urban travel experience.
