451 new students admitted to the international master's degree programmes.

The application period to the TUT´s international master's programmes ended on 15 March 2012 and the admissions results have been published. Altogether 451 new students were admitted to the international master's degree programmes.

TUT's eight international master's programmes received a record of 1,323 applications from 69 different countries within the application deadline. The total number of applications was 105 more than last year. The majority of the applications came from Iran (229), Pakistan (190), India (152) and China (121).

The master's degree programmes in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering were the most popular programmes among applicants. The programme in Information Technology attracted 360 applications and the programme in Electrical Engineering 286 applications.
