The Department of Physics carries the responsibility for undergraduate Physics education for all students at TUT.
The Department provides M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree programs in
Engineering Physics.
The Department carries out extensive scientific research in the fields of Optics and Materials Physics. The M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Engineering Physics are closely linked with the research.

Institutionen ansvarar för grundundervisningen i fysik för alla högskolans studerande.
Vi utbildar diplomingenjörer och teknologie doktorer i teknisk fysik.
Vi bedriver omfattande vetenskaplig forskning inom optik och materialfysik. En stor del av diplomarbetena och doktorsavhandlingarna i teknisk fysik utförs i samband med institutionens forskning.
