EuroMOT2011 conference discusses platforms and innovations

The 5th EuroMOT conference aims to encourage discussions about the role of platforms in search of efficiency and effectiveness as a part of technology management in order to address the challenges and opportunities present in today’s business landscape. EuroMOT2011 will bring together roughly 80 researchers from 19 different countries to discuss the role of platforms in company value creation and the role of innovations in the context of technology management.

The top-level academic keynote speakers, prof. Tugrul Daim, prof. Michael Badawy, and prof. Annabelle Gawer will address the development of platform research and its  future perspectives. In addition, the Finnish industry challenges and opportunities are presented from multiple angles by three industry keynotes. For more information, see the program at www.tut.fi/euromot2011

The conference is now arranged for the fifth time and for the first time in Finland. The conference will be chaired by Professor Saku Mäkinen and Dr. Marko Seppänen from the Department of Industrial Management, of Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
