We are offering a position as a Design Engineer at ABB Oy, Power conversion unit in Helsinki. You will
specialize in simulation of ABB wind turbine power converters and their compliance with grid codes. You
will be developing simulation models and become a recognized expert of ABB’s wind turbine power
converters in conjunction with grid integration. You will also work with our customers and partners,
defining the simulation models and discussing the results. We offer you an interesting global work

We require experience in working with Matlab/Simulink and programming in C. You have a M.Sc.
degree in electrical engineering (e.g. power systems, electric drives, power electronics or automation).
Knowledge of modeling and simulation of electrical drives, power converters or power systems is a
significant advantage. You write and speak English fluently, know MS Office tools and are good at
writing specifications and study reports. You are an analytical problem-solver and a great team player
with good communication skills.
