My scientific work has focused on the numerical mathematics of inverse problems since 2001. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at the Deparment of Mathematics of Tampere University of Technology, where I concentrate on the mathematical models of forward and inverse imaging. In my current position I belong to the inverse problems research group and also to the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Inverse Problems Research of the Academy of Finland.
