Faculty of Automation, Mechanical and Materials Engineering

The Faculty of Automation, Mechanical and Materials Engineering is the only purely technically orientated faculty in the Tampere University of Technology. By the number of students and staff, it is the second largest faculty in TUT.
 

The faculty offers high level education in bachelor's, master's and post graduate degrees. Three Finnish degree programmes and two international master's degree programmes operate in the Faculty.

Degree programmes in Finnish:

• Materials Engineering

 

International Master's degree programmes:

• Machine Automation
• Materials Science

 

Faculty consists of five departments:

• Automation Science and Engineering (ASE)
• Intelligent Hydraulics and Automation (IHA)
• Materials Science (MOL)
• Mechanics and Design (MEC)
• Production Engineering (TTE)
