English Teaching at the Department of Software Systems

Software systems is suitable for all students interested in implementation of software systems and the management of software projects. See the webpage of the International Master's Degree Programme in Information Technology for information on the structure of M.Sc. studies. The aim is to provide the students good basic understanding of software systems, the ability to design and implement them and the ability to manage and improve software development processes.

Courses

A variety of courses is offered in English at the Department. The courses are intended for both international and Finnish students.

The current arrangement is to give courses in three different ways:

• most courses are given completely in English,
• in some courses there is an English exercise group, while
• for some courses it is possible to do the course project in English and take the exam in English.
