The Wooden Historic Urban Heritage of the North - photo exhibition at Rakennustalo

The purpose of the exhibition is to present four wooden World Heritage Towns of the North, with their specific traits, with the elements that conwey their identity, with their strong points and the main threats for their development. open: 27th of october - 4th of december

All of the chosen examples have Outstanding Universal Values, and since they represent about 28% of the Nordic World Heritage Sites, their dynamic of change affects the dynamics of values in the North.

The visitor is invited to observe and judge the Identity, the Materials, the Historic Layering, the Authenticity, the Outstanding and the Ordinary found in these extraordinary sites.
