Abstract submission guidelines
General Guidelines for Abstract Preparation and Submission

Abstracts describing original work within the scope of the conference are invited.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee.

The abstract must be written in English.

Abstracts are submitted through on-line submission system. Use always the same email address in the submission system.

Give an informative title, choose appropriate theme (1. Hygiene in health care, 2. Personal protection, 3. High technology applications in hospitals, 4. Fibrous implants and devices, 5. Wound care) and define 2-3 keywords. This information is used when selecting suitable reviewer. Sessions of the conference do not necessarily follow this theme division.

Limit your author list to 5 (you can add authors when submitting full paper).

In the body of abstract, present the targets as well as main materials, methods and conclusions of the work. Abstracts are limited to 250 words.

Please indicate the preferred mode of presentation (oral or poster).

Deadline: abstracts MUST BE RECEIVED no later than 15th December 2010. Please avoid the last few days’ peak time by sending your abstract well in advance.

Information about the acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent by email at end of January 2011. Please note that the decisions are sent as mass mailings. Make sure that they are allowed in your email settings.

Presenting authors must pay the registration fee no later than 28th February. Acceptance is dependent on registration and paying as a delegate in time. Authors are not provided with travel funds. No more than two presentations are to be given by one individual.

Full papers (5-8 pages) will be published of all presentations, both oral and posters, given during the conference. Time reserved for the oral presentations is 20 minutes (including 5 min for discussion).The size of the poster board is 100 cm x 125 cm (width x height). Full-papers must be sent no later than 28th April 2011, in order to ensure that they are included in proceedings. More detailed information about the paper formatting etc. will be given in the letter of acceptance.
