Production of Photosynthetic Biomass for Fuel

The aim of this project is to study growth of photosynthetic micro-organisms in laboratory-scale batch and reactor experiments, and to assess the potential use of photosynthetic biomass as fuel feedstock. Methane, hydrogen, electricity and biodiesel (microbial fuel cell) production potentials of the biomass will be determined.
