New collaborative with India for detection of heart infarction and tuberculosis

ASE coordinates a new 2.5 year collaborative project (1.4.2011 - 31.12.2013) where the objective is to develop rapid tests for the detection of heart infraction and tuberculosis.
Ready-to-use Microfluidic Cartridges for Affordable Point-of-care Diagnostics - ReDia
The project requires multidisciplinary expertise and it is implemented in collaboration with Finnish and Indian academic and scientific partners:

TUT / Production Engineering: production METHODS

University of Turku, Department of Biotechnology: immunoassay design and development, and detection and measurement technologies

University of Delhi South Campus, India: tuberculosis assay
The project is a part of Finish-Indian Diagnostics Programme and it is funded by Tekes, Department of Biotechnology in India and eight Finnish and Indian companies.
