Open University

TUT's Open University offers you an opportunity to complete courses included in the Open University curriculum regardless of your educational background.

Studying at the Open University is part-time studying. A typical student of the Open University is a person who works full-time and is interested in self-development but is not seeking a degree. Please note that the courses are mainly given in Finnish.

The course fee is EUR 10 per credit. Open University students are not eligible to join the Student Union or entitled to any student benefits. Studying at the Open University does not entitle you to a residence permit in Finland.

In addition to Open University courses (mainly in Finnish and lectured in the evenings), you can apply for courses taught in English at TUT nad lectured at daytime.

To apply for admission to courses at the Open University, please fill in an online application. There is also an English version available.
