Undergraduate degree programmes in Finnish


Tampere University of Technology offers the following 13 first-cycle degree programmes in Finnish:

Science and Engineering

The first-cycle programmes lead to the degrees

● Bachelor of Science in Technology (BSc Tech) or
● Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSc Arch)

It takes at least three years to complete a bachelor's degree. The extent of the first-cycle degree studies is 180 credits (=opintopiste). One credit equals approximately 27 hours of work. The student workload may involve, for example, lectures, assignments, other forms of instruction and independent learning.

Applicants should apply for undergraduate degree programmes by taking entrance examinations in Finnish (see entrance examinations).

Applicants who successfully complete the entrance examination are entitled to study for the first and second-cycle degrees within the same degree programme.
