TUT does not collaborate with education agencies - thus there are no fees charged for applying and no guaranteed entrance can be promised by any agency.

All documents must be authentic. TUT personnel has training against forgery. Any falsified documents will be spotted sooner or later. Also, the statement of purpose must be written by you and show your genuine motivation - agency language is easily discovered.
Educational qualifications
The applicant must have a 3 or 4 years Bachelor of Science degree from an internationally recognized university in the field applicable to the major studies. The overall grade (CGPA) of the degree should reach at least 70 % of the maximum marks.

A degree with the same name from a Finnish Polytechnic (or university of applied science) is not qualified for this programme.
Language skills
The official language of the programme is English. Therefore, a good command in English language is an absolute prerequisite. The language certificate is always required when the student's native language is not English. English-speaking countries are: Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK and the USA.
One of the following language tests is required:
* TOEFL (min. score 79 in internet-based, 213 in computer-based or 550 in paper-based test
* IELTS (score 6.0 or higher)
* Cambridge Language Certificate (Proficiency CPE or Advanced CAE) (grade "C" or higher)
Score reports can be sent to TUT from the testing centre. The TOEFL code of Tampere University of Technology is 0599. TUT has no institutional code for other language tests.
Please notice that any other language certificate or free-form statement can not be accepted.
