Application process and documents


The application period for the academic year 2011-2012 has ended.

The application period for the academic year 2012-2013 will open in the end of this year. If you have questions about the application process, please contact us by email (rf-electronics-info (at) tut.fi).

Application documents are availabe only during the application period:
1. Application guide
2. Application form
3. Financial statement
4. Recommendation form

Following documents must be enclosed to the application:
1. Copy of Bachelor of Science degree certificate (officially attested) and English translation of the certificate
2. Copy of study transcript (officially attested) and English translation of the transcript
3. English language certificate (the original must arrive from the test organization)
4. Statement of purpose (one page, written by the applicant him-/herself)
5. Curriculum Vitae
6. Two recommendation letters from previous professors or employers.
7. Financial statement
8. Copy of your passport, if you are not a citizen of an EU country.

Please notice that incomplete or delayed applications and applications containing documents that are not properly authenticated will not be accepted. All the documents of the application should be sent together in one envelope. Documents sent by email or fax will not be accepted, and applications submitted through a third party (like educational agencies or consultants) will not be processed.

As we do not charge any application fee, the applications will not be returned. Therefore, do not submit any original documents except a language test score report.

The applicant will be sent an confirmation by email when the application documents have reached TUT. Unfortunately we cannot comment the status of any particular application until the final admission decision has been made.

Applications addressed to the Master Degree Programme in Radio Frequency Electronics will be considered only for this programme. Likewise, applications addressed to any other programmes of TUT cannot be transferred for this programme. Therefore, the applicant shall submit a separate application for each programme he/ she intends to apply for.
