‘Mithalli’ (2012 - 2014) aims to improve the effectiveness of existing performance measurement systems. It evaluates the maturity of performance management practices in Finnish organizations and develops new practices for improving the usage of existing measurement information. ‘ICT, service innovation and productivity’ (2011-2013; in collaboration with ETLA) analyses the potential of ICT to improve the productivity of service industries. Contact person: Antti Lönnqvist

‘Newwow’ (2010-2013; in collaboration with VTT, industry partners and the RYM Oy, which is the Strategic centre for Science, Technology and Innovation of the built environment in Finland) examines the possibilities of new ways of working (i.e., non-traditional work practices) in developing knowledge work productivity. ‘Measuring the impacts of housing services for the homeless’ (2011-2012) examines the cost-effectiveness of novel housing policies. Contact person: Virpi Sillanpää

Recently, we have completed projects dealing with

  • defining ‘knowledge-intensity’ and classifying KIBS companies
  • public service productivity measurement
  • cost-effectiveness of services for the disabled
  • intellectual capital measurement in non-profit elderly care sector.
