How to reach Tampere
Tampere is about 170 kilometer north of our capital Helsinki. From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Tampere is easily reachable by train, bus or connecting domestic flight. Please don't get confused by the fact that some train station names are both in Finnish and Swedish.

The conference will take place in the Pyynikki district in Tampere, a beautiful quiet and foresty location near lake Pyhäjärvi but conveniently only two kilometers away from the city center. Tampere is a lively town with a strong industrial background seen in the form of numerous old red brick factory halls which are nowadays inhabited by restaurants and offices. Tampere is the most popular destination for travelling inside Finland of offers many attractions such as the only Moomin museum in the world.
