Courses offered during and outside semesters
The management group of the Open University plans the curriculum of the Open University for each academic year. The Open University agrees on the implementation of the courses with TUT’s departments. The courses take place in the evenings.

The Open University coordinates the courses that are arranged during the summer. As a rule, summer courses take place in the daytime and the courses tend to be more intensive than those offered during the academic year. Look at Current for more information on summer courses.
Courses included in TUT’s curriculum
In addition to the courses offered at the Open University, Open University students can also apply for admission to almost all the courses that are available to degree students at TUT. These courses are mainly arranged in the daytime and are part of the University’s usual curriculum.
