The Open University offers students the opportunity to complete courses that are counted toward the degree of Master of Science in Technology/Architecture regardless of their current qualifications. Students can attend courses throughout the year, including summer.
In addition to studies in mathematics, physics and chemistry, the Open University curriculum includes courses that focus on biotechnology, construction economics, industrial engineering, etc.
The Open University curriculum includes both evening and daytime classes, so it is possible to pursue studies alongside work. In addition to so-called core courses, almost all the courses offered to degree-seeking students at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) are also available to Open University students. Open University students can therefore expand their knowledge by completing advanced studies in the fields of various major subjects.
