Educational qualifications
The applicant must have a 3 or 4 years Bachelor of Science degree from an internationally recognized university in the field of mechanical engineering, automation and/or control technology, mechatronics, and other discipline related to the programme with proficiency in mathematics, physics, and elementary programming skills.
Language skills
The official language of the Programme is English. Therefore, a good command in English language is an absolute prerequisite. The language certificate is always required from all applicants.
One of the following language tests is required:
TOEFL (min. score 79 in internet-based or 550 in paper-based test)
IELTS (score 6.0 or higher)
Cambridge Language Certificate (Proficiency CPE or Advanced CAE) (grade "C" or higher)
Score reports can be sent to TUT from the testing centre. The TOEFL code of Tampere University of Technology is 0599. TUT has no institutional code for other language tests.
