Environment for Special Assignments in Factory Automation (SAFA)

This production line is a two level pallet based final assembly line used in industry. This line includes work stations, main lines, lifts and one robot cell.  The whole system can be divided into three segments: The first segment is the start of the line which consists the start lifter, one main line (up and down line), one work station and a robot cell, the second segment has two work stations, the main line (up and down line) and the intermediate lifter. The end segment has one main line (up and down line) which is able to lift the pallet to the workstation, one work station and the end lifter. The lower line of the system is used to transfer the pallet back to the start segment.
