Finalization of IDE4L project is to be started

On Friday 4th of December the results of IDE4L project were presented to group of invited guests at TUT. Due to timely topic the seminar had a good number of participants from distribution network companies, manufactures of automation systems, research institutes and universities. In addition to presentations the discussion was continued next to posters including all technical details. The highlight of the seminar day was the demonstration of functionalities and distributed automation system in RTDS laboratory.

Next the demonstration phase of the project will start in real field conditions. The final results will be ready by August 2016. The role of TUT is to coordinate the project, and to design, implement and test state estimation and voltage control methods to be located at primary and secondary substations, distributed automation solution based on IEC 61850 standard, and expansion and tariff scheme planning methods.
