The courses counted towards the degree develop the ability to conduct research in the field and perform the tasks of an IT engineer. The profession includes the design, implementation and technical applications of systems based on data processing, automation and data transmission. You will also acquire the knowledge and skills to pursue a career in research and teaching or take on management positions. In addition, you will be able to apply your expertise in other branches of engineering.
The programme is available for all Finnish and international students who have completed a BSc degree in a field related to the discipline. The programme offers five alternative focus areas.
The two-year programme leads to the degree of Master of Science in Technology. The degree makes you eligible for apply for admission to doctoral programmes.
