Tampere University of Technology (TUT) conducts research in the fields of technology and architecture and provides higher education based on this research.

TUT combines a strong tradition of research in the fields of natural sciences and engineering with research related to industry and business. Particular strengths include the interaction between fundamental and applied research, broad international networks and high-quality research projects that cut across departmental and disciplinary boundaries. You may choose from 14 different study options in seven different degree programmes conducted entirely in English. The teaching is based on research, both being of the highest standard. The university collaborates with 230 universities around the world and every year about 100 international degree students and 400 exchange students start their studies at TUT.

The scope of a master´s degree programme is 120 ECTS credits, completed with two years of full-time study. All programmes comply with the national legislation governing university education and are therefore, recognised globally. The Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINHEEC) regularly evaluates the quality assurance systems of the universities.

Upon completion of the programme you will earn the degree of Master of Science in Technology or Master of Science in Architecture. As a TUT graduate you will enjoy excellent employment rates and will be readily absorbed by industry, companies and other facets of society. This clearly demonstrates that the degrees conferred by the University are highly valued in working life worldwide. After graduation you are are also eligible to apply for doctoral studies in Finland or abroad.
