TUT offers a substantial number of scholarships for fee-paying students.
Bobin George Abraham from India studied in the Masters programme in Science and Bioengineering. He enjoyed the programme's "Learn by doing" -approach, which motivated him to continue as a researcher in the department. In Bobin's experience the doctoral studies at TUT provide academic freedom to plan your own research ideas, so the choice to start working on research was not difficult for him. Overall, TUT graduates find work in various fields, research work being just one of them.
TUT’s placement in key international rankings has been on the rise in recent years. This year TUT ranked 47th on ‘QS Top 50 Under 50’ list. In 2017 TUT was ranked 380th in the QS World University Ranking.
In the Times Higher Education ranking, TUT’s strong suit was once again close industry collaboration. Measured with this indicator, TUT ranked in TOP 100 out of all universities.
