Quality assurance
Tampere University of Technology pursues high quality in all its operations. To maintain quality, the 
University has established a quality assurance system. It ensures that the University upholds high academic standards as well as promotes the continuous development of operations.
TUT regularly participates in external evaluations of its operations and quality assurance system. The results of the previous audit of the University’s quality assurance system, conducted in 2007, were published in an audit report: Tampereen teknillisen yliopiston laadunvarmistusjärjestelmän auditointi (2007.pdf)
TUT is currently undergoing an international Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), whereby expert panels evaluate the quality of research undertaken at the University.
