TUT is an active participant in two university consortia, Seinäjoki and Pori, and in the latter also has the role of coordinator. TUT’s Pori Unit is a conventional education and research unit while the University’s activity in Seinäjoki focuses on research and development that support the region’s industry.
The University also conducts research and development in Rauma, Valkeakoski, Kokkola, Mikkeli, Lahti, Sastamala, Kankaanpää and Hämeenlinna.
