Cooperation with universities and polytechnics

Tampere University of Technology, the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Applied Sciences constitute a hub of expertise that promotes wellbeing throughout the Greater Tampere Area and western Finland as a whole. They all have distinct roles and responsibilities based on their profiles, strategic areas and focal areas of expertise.

TUT engages in research collaboration with the best partners in each field to guarantee the best possible competence for all projects. The University's key research partners in Finland are Aalto University, Lappeenranta University of Technology, and the universities of Tampere and Jyväskylä, with which TUT forms the University Alliance Finland.
