TUT improves its position in NTU RankingTampere University of Technology (TUT) has moved up 30 places and now ranks 229th in the Electrical Engineering category of the National Taiwan University Ranking.
The Performance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities is released by the National Taiwan University (NTU) each year in October. Of the thousands of universities worldwide, only the top 500 make it to the list. Their position on the ranking list depends on the volume, quality and impact of scientific papers.
The NTU Ranking ranks universities based on six research fields and 14 subjects. TUT moved up an impressive 30 places in the Electrical Engineering category and is now on the 229th place. Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore and Massachusetts Institute of Technology were ranked in the top three in this category.
Harvard University, John Hopkins University and the University of Toronto topped the NTU Ranking list based on their overall score.
