TUT improves its placement in the QS Rankings in three categoriesThe 2015 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject has been published. TUT was placed in the 151-200 bracket in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering category.
In the categories Computer Science & Information Systems and Physics & Astronomy (301-400 bracket) TUT made it to the rankings for the first time.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. This year 3,500 universities worldwide were evaluated for the QS Rankings.
QS also provides a league table for overall rankings, which is published every autumn. Last autumn TUT was placed 362nd.
90th place in ‘THE 100 Under 50’
Times Higher Education (THE) has announced this year’s results of the 100 Under 50 ranking. TUT rose from 98th to 90th place. Times Higher Education judges universities across all of their core missions, namely teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
