International students put their talents to the test in a recent competition to redesign Julkujärvi Camping Centre. The winning entry stood out because of its unique and innovative design inspired by the surrounding woodlands. The School of Architecture at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) and the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of Tampere arranged a competition for redesigning the Julkujärvi Camping Centre in Ylöjärvi in the vicinity of Tampere. The objective was to find a design that synthesizes functionality, environmental performance and aesthetics.
