Professor Jorma Mäntynen joins the Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences
Professor of Traffic and Transportation Technology Jorma Mäntynen from the Department of Business Information Management and Logistics at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) has been invited to join the Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences.
The Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences was established in 1958 to promote techno-scientific and economic research and thereby benefit Finnish industries, businesses and society. One of the Academy's goals is the promotion of sustainable development in Finland and abroad.
Finnish citizens with an accomplished track record in promoting techno-scientific research, business activities or the development of technology in Finland are eligible for Academy membership. The Academy accepts a limited number of members.
