Prof. Antti Lönnqvist joins the Scientific Advisory Group of the Finnish Work Environment Fund
Professor Antti Lönnqvist from Tampere University of Technology (TUT) has been invited to join the Scientific Advisory Group of the Finnish Work Environment Fund for the term running from 1 January 2013 to 21 December 2016.The Finnish Work Environment Fund sponsors research, development and communications that promote safe workplaces and increase productivity. The Scientific Advisory Group evaluates the cross-disciplinary R&D proposals and prepares recommendations as to who are requested to provide expert statements to the Fund.
In 2012, the Finnish Work Environment Fund granted a total of 9.8 million euros for organizations to carry out R&D projects.
The Scientific Advisory Group comprises 12 members. The Fund invites external experts to serve a term of four years on the Group.
Antti Lönnqvist holds a professorship at Novi Research Center that is placed under the Department of Information Management and Logistics of TUT.
