Mobile healthcare solutions through multidisciplinary collaboration
Seminar: Data-driven Medicine 2012 – Globile Health
Time: 28 March 2012 from 8.30 to 17.00
Place: Tampere Hall, address: Yliopistonkatu 55, Tampere, Finland
Global health is an increasing challenge for both developed and developing countries. Cloud services and mobile devices aim to bring health care services globally available anywhere and anytime. This offers a great opportunity for research-based business and innovations.
We face an ever increasing accumulation of data relating to human health and disease, nutrition and the environment. This wealth of computer readable data needs to be gradually converted into better medical understanding and translated into more efficient clinical practices and treatments.
The seminar brings together IT, biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals from industry and academia.
The seminar is arranged by Tampere University of Technology, FinnMedi Ltd and Hermia Ltd. The event is sponsored by the HealthBIO and Ubiquitous Computing that are part of the Centre of Expertise Programme OSKE.
