The first expert to hold the position of TUT Industry Professor is DTech Jukka Pekkanen, who assumed office at the beginning of April.

“TUT is a superior university for the construction industry in Finland. I am very happy to be appointed for the professorship, as cooperation between industry and research has always been a very dear topic to me,” Pekkanen says.

Alongside the five-year professorship, he will continue as Development Director at the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT.
