Jari Ikonen appointed to chair TUT’s Alumni Association
Jari Ikonen was appointed as the Chairman of TUT’s Alumni Association at the association's annual general meeting on 24 April 2013. Ikonen graduated from TUT with a master’s degree in information technology in 2000 and currently works at Hermia Ltd.“This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Alumni Association, so it’s an exciting time to join the Board. We’ll continue developing the association’s activities and we have some interesting new events on the horizon as well. I wish all alumni, students and staff happy May Day and hope to see you all at the Association’s May Day tent,” says Jari Ikonen.
The Alumni Association’s May Day tent will be open on Hämeenkoski Bridge in the city centre on 1 May from 12:00 to 15:00.
Lauri Siljander, Petja Venäläinen and Harri Vuolle were appointed as new members to the Board of the Alumni Association. In addition, Paul H. Andersson, Kirsi Lindfors, Kari Mettälä, Minna Niittymäki, Petri Partanen and Anne Rajala will continue serving on the Board.
